Understanding how your government works and more importantly, how your government works for YOU (and your business) is a difficult task.

Since the start of the pandemic, The Chamber has been working nonstop to provide you with critical information and resources, new ways to connect with one another, and a powerful voice for your needs at every level of government.

But, effectively navigating the halls of City Hall or the Legislative requires experience and knowledge in public policy. When done right, a collaboration between business and government can drive our city forward.

We have recognized the need for Chamber members to have their voices heard directly by government– but where do you start? Policy 101, led by Director of Policy, Colin Fast, is the best place for you to learn how to do just that.

3 Reasons why you should attend Policy 101

  1. This is your opportunity to share with The Chamber how we can help you with your policy needs and government relations. We are here to help you but in order to help we need to know where your interests lie.

  2. Find out how government decision-making works and how these decisions impact your business. It can be easy to get bogged down by processes, but at the root of it all is how are these decisions impacting you and your business. The Chamber is here to help you figure that out.

  3. Hear from other members of the business community and Colin Fast on helpful tools and tips on how to navigate city hall and communicate with different levels of government.

Join us on Wednesday, Oct 20 for a free virtual Policy 101 discussion with our Director of Policy, Colin Fast.
