Did you know that many Chamber members are already taking advantage of Efficiency Manitoba programs for their energy-efficient projects? Take a look at Asham Curling Supplies who upgraded their lighting for free through Efficiency Manitoba’s Indigenous Small Business Program.

Asham Curling Supplies now saves approximately 18,145 kWh of energy annually.
They installed 362 T8 LED lamps (U-bent, with fixtures), 362 T8 LED lamps (also with fixtures), and 2 occupancy sensors. Efficiency Manitoba’s Small Business Programs cover the costs of labour and materials through their Basic Upgrade, which includes free A-line LED bulbs, free showerheads, free faucet aerators, and more. They’ll also assess where you can save further energy costs by completing lighting and attic assessments. You could qualify for further energy savings through their Premium Upgrade, which includes specialty LED lighting, smart thermostats, lighting controls, and even pitched roof insulation.
So, if your small business is under 15,000 sq ft, is not part of a national franchise or chain, has ten or fewer locations in Manitoba, and you pay an energy bill at a commercial rate, you can start saving today!
