ABOUT OUR SPEAKERS
Anna Janik-Kelly is passionate about helping people discover new perspectives through language education. Since earning her Master’s degree in Applied Linguistics, Anna has been sharing her unbridled enthusiasm for grammar, language acquisition and puns with students, colleagues, family and friends, anyone really. She now uses her experience to enhance language education for newcomers and engage community in welcoming newcomer talent and expertise.
Kashyap Arora, LMIC Kashyap contributes to multiple labour market-related projects, including identifying links between education systems and LMI, tracking green economy jobs, and assessing provincial and territorial responses to labour and skills shortages. Prior to joining LMIC, Kashyap collaborated with organizations and academic institutions, including the University of Cambridge (UK), Consider Canada City Alliance and the Centre for Policy Research (a South Asian think tank). Kashyap holds a master’s degree in economics and international financial economics from the University of Warwick and a bachelor’s degree in economics from the University of Delhi.
Jamil Ahmed is an Economic Analyst at The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, providing valuable insights into various policy matters. With a strong focus on interpreting legislation and analyzing data, Jamil has been instrumental in advising on policy decisions.
In the upcoming workshop, Jamil will be presenting innovative solutions for the business community to address the current challenge. With his expertise in policy analysis and research, he is well-positioned to provide valuable insights and practical solutions.
