ABOUT EVENT:
Our herd’s calving season runs May through June — come see the 9th largest land animal at its smallest and cutest! The Plains Bison is a magnificent mammal, and a fitting symbol for the province of Manitoba. See the herd in action, hear how this icon of the prairie almost disappeared, and feel a connection to the herd as you see the miracle of baby bison.
Following the hike, cut loose and split some stumps as you hone your frontier skills in a laid-back atmosphere. If you’re looking for a sharp team-building idea, hatchet-throwing is right on target! Warp the evening enjoying a bonfire and a traditional campfire snack of bannock or marshmallows.
