We judge ourselves on our conscious beliefs and decisions and are often shocked when we get to ‘see’ the outcome of our unconscious biases. Many of our beliefs are unconscious and they play an important role in how we make decisions, choices, and actions about a person or a specific group of people.
In this course we unearth the roots of certain biases, we explore the impact of bias on racialized vs. non-racialized communities. We provide tools and strategies for how unconscious bias can be “over ruled” by proven practices and commitments.
This course is designed on the principles of public health and business and is perfect for organizations and their contributors looking for ways to embed anti-racist practices within the fabric of their organization.
