This workshop is designed for entrepreneurs who are new to business and would appreciate having a better understanding of how GST works. This seminar will address concerns on the premise of “what they don’t know could hurt them”.

Attendees will learn the following:

1. Define taxable product and service as well as what’s exempt and zero rated (and what this means)
2. Different methods of calculating the GST including the Quick and Simplified methods
3. Tips and traps related to GST

Kevin has been part of the team at Talbot & Associates since January 2013. He is the Oak Bluff Manager/Personal Tax Manager. Kevin graduated from the Business Administration Program at Red River College in 2009 and has been working in public practice ever since. While working full time, Kevin also completed his CPA, CGA designation and received a commerce degree from Laurentian University in 2015. Kevin’s philosophy is that he would always like to treat others the way that he would like to be treated. These values are evident in Kevin’s interactions with each person he comes into contact with.
