ABOUT THE SPEAKERS
Adeela Carter is the founder of The Carter Strategy Group, a global consulting firm that specializes in strategic planning and business development for entrepreneurs, small businesses and corporate clients. In addition to running Carter Strategy Group, she is the co-founder and Head of Marketing and Communications at Pitch Better Inc., a Canadian-based market research firm focused on using data and strategic insights to help diverse founders make informed decisions. Adeela has provided her expertise in marketing, brand development and strategy to shape and help in the development of global teams, entrepreneurs, influencers and personal brands, resulting in extraordinary achievements and the exceedance of business goals. Over the course of her career, Adeela has been featured in several mixed media publications such as Forbes, Flare Magazine and Refinery29. She has hosted fireside chats for the United States Black Chambers Inc. in Washington, DC, and moderated panels at both Build Your Own Brand Conference in Atlanta and The Caribbean Women’s Power Lunch in Trinidad and Tobago. Adeela prides herself on her ability to build connections with individuals and businesses, empowering others to do the same.
Amoye Henry, MBA, is an investor, author and mission-driven consultant working at the nexuses of instinct and tenacity to scale growth-based businesses led by unique founders across four different continents. She has worked to secure millions in funding for tech entrepreneurs, start-ups, and innovation-driven organisations. She is the Co-Founder of Pitch Better Inc., an award-winning market-research firm that supports underrepresented founders and conducts national research.
