ABOUT THE SPEAKER


Monique Levesque-Pharoah
has served as a Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce Ambassador since 2006. In 2009 she worked closely with the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce to charter We Believe in Winnipeg. She still belongs to the Chamber Toastmasters club that meets bi-weekly on Friday mornings at Sandler Training at 7:30 a.m. She enjoys using her Toastmasters skills in all aspects of her life.

Monique is the business owner of Unique Communications & Training. A highly experienced presenter and facilitator, Monique uses her energetic approach and real-life workplace situations to bring training alive. Participants regularly comment on her ability to make training fun and meaningful.

She holds a Certificate in Human Resources Management (Honours) and has professional experience in employee development, communication & leadership and especially enjoys facilitating conflict resolution strategies and was recently recertified as a Conflict Mediator with Mediation Services.

Philanthropy and Fundraising have been a part of Monique’s life while working at the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation, Health Sciences Centre Foundation and now at Peer Connections Manitoba.

Monique understands the importance of networking in all areas of life. You don’t need to be in fund development to reap the benefits of networking. Whether it’s creating business leads, making connections that add to your life and the community or simply making friends, networking is that first step.
