With energy demands increasing, it becomes more important that we reduce our energy use and become as energy-efficient as possible in our homes and businesses.
This is why we are happy to announce that we have renewed our partnership with Efficiency Manitoba for another year. In 2022, we announced we’d be hiring an Energy and Climate Advocate in partnership with Efficiency Manitoba to foster a culture of conservation in the business community and empower organizations and their employees to participate in energy-saving initiatives.
Today, this renewed partnership drives our mission to foster a more sustainable, prosperous future for Winnipeg businesses. We encourage you to connect with our Energy and Climate Advocate, Casey Clair, to learn more about programs that will save your business money through energy-efficient upgrades and retrofits.
For instance, Efficiency Manitoba offers free ways for your small business to save money, energy, and the environment, with their Small Business Program. If your business doesn’t meet the criteria for the Small Business Program, there are many other commercial programs available, including the Business Lighting Program, Building Envelope Program, Commercial Refrigeration Program and the New Buildings Program.
Join the many Chamber members who have retrofitted their businesses, like the Winnipeg Soccer Federation, who upgraded their lighting through the Business Lighting Program.
