About our Speaker:
David Patrick, CPA, CA
David has a background in finance coming from his degree at the University of Manitoba which led him into obtaining a Chartered Accountant designation in the early 2000’s through articling with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP for several years in the assurance group. Upon completion of the CA exams and articling requirements, David’s primary client, ACE Aviation Holdings (i.e. Air Canada), offered him an opportunity in their financial reporting team. After a short tenure there, an opportunity came from Exchange Income Corporation (formally Exchange Industrial Income Fund) where the company’s head-office team was gathering professionals with the opportunity to grow the relatively young public company through acquisitions and organic growth. Since joining EIC in 2007, David has been involved in the finance team helping to close several acquisitions, capital raises, financing renewals and organic growth. David’s currently the Executive Vice President of Finance of EIC with a focus around the company’s reporting, treasury, investor relations and other finance responsibilities.
