Quick Poll: Tell us how we are doing

Welcome to Winnipeg: Understanding and Embracing Syrian Refugees – January 25, 2016

Monday, January 25, 2016
11:15 am – 1:30 pm

Online registration for this event is now closed. For tickets for more information, contact The Chamber at 204 944-8484.

The Chamber is very proud of our community’s response to the needs of the incoming refugees. We know that the local business community has already shown great support for the effort to ensure newcomers have what they need to be able to pursue their dreams here in Manitoba.

Join us as we bring together the private sector, settlement agencies and newcomers to highlight opportunities within the workforce on Monday, Jan. 25, 2016 at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.

  • Hear directly from those who have made the journey to Winnipeg
  • Learn more about local agencies providing support and resources to refugees
  • Meet employers who want to learn more about hiring newcomers and the skills they bring to the Winnipeg labour market
