About Our Speaker
Lisa Dyck is the owner of Cornell Creme Ltd. A hobby that grew into a business from her very own kitchen in 2012. She co-owns a 120 cow dairy farm with her husband, William in Anola, Manitoba. They have 2 children, Olivia (21) and Aaron (14).
She uses milk from their dairy farm to make an all natural, high premium ice-cream. Cornell Creme can be found in over 20 stores and on menu at 5 restaurants in Winnipeg and rural locations of Manitoba. In her spare time she sits on board for the Manitoba Food Processors, Food Development Centre and most recently, the Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce. She enjoys bringing awareness to Agriculture and networking relationships through food.
Obby Khan is a man of many facets: athlete, business owner, chef and a generous supporter of the local community. He is the owner of two Fast Casual Restaurants in Winnipeg, Shawarma Khan and Green Carrot Juice Company, with plans to expand both concepts and his empire.
Obby accepted a football scholarship to Simon Fraser University. Obby signed with the Cincinnati Bengals in 2004, in addition to being drafted second overall in the 2004 CFL draft by his hometown Ottawa Renegades.
Obby played in Ottawa until he was relocated in 2006 to play for the Winnipeg Blue Bombers, where he finally found home.
Obby’s commitment to improving Winnipeg is evidenced by his philanthropic work in the community, as well as his involvement as a public figure.
