Winnipeg has been named one of the top 7  intelligent communities in the world.

Join us as we welcome Intelligent Community Forum judge Robert Bell in our quest to become The Intelligent Community of the Year for 2016!

Intelligent communities are those which have – whether through crisis or foresight – come to understand the challenges of the broadband economy, and are taking actions that will create an economy capable of creating wealth, jobs and also addressing social change. The Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) seeks to share the best practices of the world’s intelligent communities in adapting to the demands of the broadband economy, in order to help communities everywhere find sustainable renewal and growth.

The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Economic Development Winnipeg Inc., is pleased to welcome ICF judge, Robert Bell, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Intelligent Community Forum as he visits Winnipeg in our continued efforts to become The Intelligent Community of the Year for 2016. Winnipeg has earned a spot on the ICF’s list of the Smart21 since 2011 and this year marks the second time Winnipeg has been named to the Top7.

Please join us to hear from Robert Bell on the importance of intelligent communities, why Winnipeg has been selected as one of the Top7 communities in the world and what this means for our city and its future.
