The Intelligent Community Forum (ICF) seeks to share the best practices of the world’s intelligent communities in adapting to the demands of the broadband economy, in order to help communities everywhere find sustainable renewal and growth.
The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with Economic Development Winnipeg Inc., is pleased to welcome ICF judge, Robert Bell, Executive Director and Co-Founder of Intelligent Community Forum as he visits Winnipeg in our continued efforts to become The Intelligent Community of the Year for 2016. Winnipeg has earned a spot on the ICF’s list of the Smart21 since 2011 and this year marks the second time Winnipeg has been named to the Top7.

About Robert Bell
Robert Bell is Executive Director of the Intelligent Community Forum, a nonprofit think tank that that focuses on the use of broadband and information technology for economic development in communities around the world. During his tenure, Mr. Bell has led economic development missions to cities in Asia and the US; authored articles in The Municipal Journal of Telecommunications Policy, Telecommunications, Asia-Pacific Satellite, Satellite News and Asian Communications; and appeared in segments of ABC World News and The Discovery Channel. He is a frequent speaker and moderator at municipal and telecommunications industry conferences.
