About our speaker:
Stefan Epp-Koop, Acting Executive Director of Food Matters Manitoba
Stefan Epp-Koop is passionate about good food and the power it has to build a healthy province. With Food Matters Manitoba he’s working to make good food more accessible for everyone, and to teach healthy food skills that will last a lifetime. Stefan became involved in good food work for many reasons – work experience on farms while growing up in rural Alberta, time spent doing international development work, and an interest in policy issues, not to mention the joy of getting his hands in the garden dirt. Since first joining Food Matters Manitoba in 2008, Stefan has coordinated research, evaluation, and policy analysis for the charity. As Acting Executive Director, Stefan’s focus is on building partnerships across sectors with those who share the vision of a healthy future for all Manitobans.
