In this seminar, you will learn the basic steps of importing to reduce your risk and anxiety facing this new adventure.

This seminar will provide an overview of the essential steps to get your product into Canada:
– Obtaining a business number for an import licence
– Using licensed customs brokers
– Determining country of origin, permits and restrictions
– Tariff classification and applicable tariffs and duties
– GST, excise tax / duty
– Shipping methods, release of goods
