This seminar will help build skills to effectively plan and implement successful staffing actions and select employees that suit your business. In addition, the seminar will address not only key staffing steps, but effective processes, legal requirements, and tips on how to accelerate the process while avoiding common staffing mistakes.

Attendees will learn the following:

1. How to effectively establish and assess candidate qualifications you need for hiring
2. Key steps in successful sourcing of applicants, screening, interviewing, reference checks, selection and offers
3. The do’s and don’ts of staffing for effective, legal and successful selection of candidates

Dan Furlan (CHRP) is a seasoned Human Resources professional with over 35 years of experience as an HR Manager, Trainer and Consultant. His experience includes both public and private sectors in manufacturing, finance, health care, telecommunications and the service industry. He has instructed many related seminars plus recruitment and selection at both Red River College and University of Winnipeg for many years.
