This seminar will provide the fundamentals of managing risk within any organization, in a plain language. The instructor will provide information on a basic risk management process that is used globally and demonstrate a decision matrix and metric that is easily explained to others.

2. A fundamental risk management process
3. First steps in identifying and applying risk principles
Mike has over 30 years in the risk management field and has given seminars around the world and written about the topic. As a practitioner he was the Chief Risk Officer of United Grain Growers Limited and led the development of both process and risk management/financing solutions that ultimately became the basis of teaching studies in business schools – including Harvard Business School. He was one of the first to describe and implement what is now termed ERM (Enterprize Risk Management) within the field.
