Did you know that exporting can lead to increased sales and better profits? In this seminar, you will learn the basic steps of exporting to reduce your risk and anxiety facing this new adventure.

This seminar will provide an overview of the essential steps to get your product out of Canada:
– Obtaining a business number for an export licence
– Using licensed customs brokers
– Determining country of origin, permits and restrictions
– Export declarations, shipping methods

Virginie De Visscher is a Certified International Trade Professional (CITP) with a master’s degree in Engineering. She has lived and worked in more than 7 countries. Virginie is currently the Director of Business Development at Tourism Winnipeg, a division of Economic Development Winnipeg Inc. She previously held a position as Director, International Trade at the WTC Winnipeg for more than 5 years. Virginie is also the Honorary Consul of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Manitoba.
