2015 Civic Budget Consultation – Chamber Delivers Unique Member Opportunity

Each year through our civic budget submissions, The Chamber champions our members’ views and suggestions for creating a better business climate in Winnipeg. This year, to complement our on-going work, we are pleased to announce a new undertaking to engage our members in a conversation and consultation process on the 2015-2017 Operating Budget and the 2015-2020 Capital Budget.

On Friday, June 6, The Chamber invites you to take part in a consultation, led by the company coordinating the City’s budget consultation process, to identify your priorities, define levels of service and elaborate on the value and motivations underlying your solutions and choices. The process seeks to help
align civic budget allocations and spending priorities with citizen values and needs, while also asking you to grapple with the costs, consequences and choices necessary to develop and inform fiscally responsible options and solutions.

If you would like to participate in this conversation, or learn more about The Chamber’s policy efforts, please contact Loren Remillard, vice-president of
Policy and Public Affairs, at 204-944-3309 or [email protected].
