The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce craves Le Burger week every September. This year, The Chamber decided to visit our members to taste their burger creations. The results did not disappoint.

Chamber Member – Garbonzo’s Polo Park
Jon, our Vice President of Business Development, enjoyed Garbonzo’s Polo Park location’s Jalapeno Calzone Burger.
The Jalapeno Calzone burger was a spicy marriage of burger & calzone -and included two signature smashed beef patties, pepper Jack cheese, jalapeño cream cheese, crisp bacon, lettuce, tomato, ranch dressing, sautéed onions, Elman’s dill pickles, ketchup and mustard wrapped in handmade pizza dough and topped with fried jalapeño poppers.
Chamber Member – Shawarma Khan
Katelyn, our Program Coordinator, and Sean, our Investor Relationships Coordinator, stopped by Shawarma Khan to try The Khan Deluxe.
The Khan Deluxe featured a beef, lamb and falafel patty topped with cheddar cheese, caramelized onions, a Middle Eastern slaw accompanied by pickled turnips and signature garlic sauce spiced with a rich palak seasoning.
Chamber Member – Garbonzo’s HSC
We visited long time Chamber Member, Canad Inns, at their brand new Garbonzo’s Restaurant located at Health Science Centre.
Part of our Membership Team, Anne and Kristina tried the Decadent Chicken Burger – signature smashed beef patties, spicy chicken, bacon with tomato, blend of cheesy goodness on a house made pizza bun!
Chamber Member – La Roca
Jackie, our Business Resource Manager, tried the spicy El Chapo burger.
The El Chapo burger was packed with a beef and chorizo patty, homemade guacamole, Habanero cucumber sauce, chipotle aioli, Spanish coleslaw, pico de gallo and queso fundido.
Our new Director of Policy, Colin, kicked off Le Burger Week early to visit our chamber member at The Oakwood Cafe for their La Svizzerina burger!
La Svizzerina featured an all beef patty, with delicious fix-ins like Italian sausage, provolone, and parmesan topped with a meatball.
