Quick Poll: Tell us how we are doing

CALL FOR EVENT SPEAKERS

Do you have an idea you want to share?

At The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce, we bring people together. Our events are your opportunity to meet with like-minded business professionals and dive into thought-provoking business trends and topics. With over 150 annual events, we actively seek diverse speakers from our membership base to share their innovative ideas in both virtual and in-person settings.

We are currently accepting applications to be a speaker at our CODE (Commitment to Opportunity, Diversity and Equity) events —a movement to intentionally build and advance DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) within our workplaces and beyond. Join our community-led conversations and public events to foster an inclusive business landscape and promote equal opportunities for everyone.

This year, Chamber members were given the opportunity to vote on the CODE topics they would like to see in this year’s events lineup, and we are specifically looking for speakers who can address those topics. However, if you have other compelling topics to pitch, we welcome your submissions as well.

Submit your valuable presentation idea through our form and consider including a short pitch video (1-3 minutes) to enhance your application.
Shape a vibrant future for our community by participating in our inclusive events. Connect with like-minded professionals, gain valuable insights, and contribute to a prosperous business environment.

Please note, only successful speaker applications will be contacted at this time. We will keep a record of all applications for future events.

If you have any questions regarding this process, please contact Shawn Yuan, [email protected].

What is CODE:

CODE is a Community Movement

As Winnipeg’s biggest business association, we must acknowledge the existing systemic and institutionalized barriers faced by equity-deserving groups, including women; Indigenous peoples; racialized persons; persons living with disabilities; and 2SLGBTQ+ people.

The Winnipeg Chamber of Commerce brings together Winnipeg leaders through community-led conversations and public events to create an inclusive business landscape and encourage public participation to remove barriers to ensure equal opportunities.
