We Believe in Winnipeg

We Believe in Winnipeg!

It’s too easy to complain about our weather, potholes and mosquitoes, but a lot of great things happen in Winnipeg. Imagine if, instead, we talked about the positive things happening in our city.

The Chamber wants to share our success stories, whether it’s businesses doing well – expanding, creating employment opportunities and being world-class innovators – or the warm hospitality, generosity and rich diversity that our city is known for.

We believe in Winnipeg and as the Voice of Business, we will use that voice to instill pride in our city and our accomplishments.

We Believe in Winnipeg Breakfast Series

In 2009, we launched a new breakfast series to promote Winnipeg in a positive light. In 2010, we continue with that series.

You will hear from Winnipeggers who could go anywhere in the world and be successful, but they choose to stay here and make our city a vibrant, exciting place to live. They are captains of industry, protectors of our history and promoters of sports and entertainment.

Join us as they share our city’s success stories and find out why they believe in Winnipeg. You will hear from Jerry Gray of the Friends of Upper Fort Garry, Ian Smart of Standard Aero and Jim Bell of the Winnipeg Football Club, to name but a few.

The breakfasts, hosted from 7:30 - 9 a.m., are held every second month from September forward.
